How we work

How the firm works

Four traits run through both divisions: how the work is organised, with what tools, with how much knowledge of the client’s business, and on what timescales.

Working method

Every piece of work follows a defined procedure, with control points set from the offer onwards.

What changes for the client The client knows in advance what they will receive, by when and with what support.

  • Procedure and checklist for each piece of work
  • Scope and timing in writing before starting
  • Review by both partners before delivery
  • Date, reference and version on every document

AI-native processes

The firm designs its processes around artificial intelligence, not as an afterthought.

What changes for the client The full universe of documents is reviewed where work used to be done by sampling. Legal judgement stays with the partners.

  • Document review across complete volumes
  • Systematised case files and portfolios
  • Assisted drafts and calculation models
  • Human verification against the source

Knowledge of the business

We understand how the client operates and join its operation before recommending.

What changes for the client The solution is designed around how the business works, not around a standard model.

  • Diagnosis of the operation before proposing
  • Taking part in the committees where decisions are made
  • Documents fitted to the commercial process
  • Direct dialogue with the client’s departments

Business timescales

The legal timeline is agreed against the client’s commercial calendar, not apart from it.

What changes for the client Timeliness and rigour are not traded against each other: both are planned from the services offer.

  • Deadlines set with the operation in hand
  • Explicit priority when a deal is under way
  • Partial deliveries if the decision cannot wait
  • The same quality control on any timeline

How we work

From the first meeting to the offer

No structure is recommended without first seeing the actual estate that has to carry it. The work starts by receiving the case, not by proposing a solution.

  1. You

    Write to us

Set out the matter and the deadline governing it. We respond with that week's availability.

If a hearing is already listed, include the date: the study is scheduled backwards from it.

  2. You and the partner in charge

    First meeting

We receive the case and establish its scope.

We confirm which division handles it: Corpus Legal, Corpus Capital or both at once.

  3. Corpus Group, then you

    Professional services offer

We send an offer setting out the method, the objectives and the fees for your particular case.

Once it is accepted, the work begins. Before that, no attorney-client relationship exists.

In debt recovery and at auction the deadline governs: an effective interim measure and a bid are both lost by the calendar, not by judgement.
